Best Wood Wagons

Wood bed wagons are usually a few inches longer and wider than their metal counterparts, giving you more payload capacity. Unlike the metal wagons, the siderails can be removed on the wood models, which makes it easier to haul larger loads.

As with all wagons, keep them stored in doors to keep the wood beds from getting wet and warping. The varnish applied by the actories is usually quite thin so we suggest adding a second coat after your first season.

Price: $125 - $500+
Terrain: Both solid rubber and air tires are available
Travel: Some models have removeable siderails for a smaller footprint in the minivan
Notes: Wood wagons look great and allow for larger capacity

Radio Flyers are cool and we really like the "anti-tip" steering on some of the Berlin wagons below.
